Our clients in the high-end and prime residential construction and refurbishment sector is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Pre-Construction team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact within a forward-thinking business in building and construction, contributing to high-profile residential projects across Southwest, North, and West London while leading and developing a talented estimating team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimating functions across high-end residential projects, driving accuracy and commercial competitiveness from design inception.
• Develop detailed cost plans and competitive tenders for bespoke, high-spec residential schemes.
• Manage client and internal stakeholder expectations throughout the bid and pre-construction phases.
• Balance multiple concurrent tenders with meticulous attention to detail and tight deadline delivery.
• Translate complex architectural specifications into accurate estimates that support winning bids for portfolio-defining project.

The Ideal Estimator Will Have

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities within an estimating team environment
• Expert-level experience preparing detailed cost plans and competitive tenders for architecturally sophisticated residential schemes
• Polished stakeholder management skills across high-net-worth clients and senior internal teams
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Advanced technical proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating software
• Ability to manage multiple complex tenders simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality and meeting critical deadlines
• Quantity Surveying or Construction Management qualification (beneficial)
