Enfield | Hybrid Working | Up to £80,000 + Bonus + Company Car

An established and highly regarded scaffolding contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join its commercial team, based from its Enfield operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced scaffolding professional who understands the commercial and technical side of the industry and wants to join a successful, growing business offering a strong package and genuine flexibility.

The position is hybrid, combining time at the Enfield depot, working from home and attending customer/site meetings when required.

The Role

As Estimator, you'll take responsibility for preparing accurate and commercially competitive tenders across a range of scaffolding projects.

You'll work closely with customers, contracts teams and senior management, helping the business secure profitable new projects while developing strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing enquiries, drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Producing detailed estimates and competitive tenders
• Calculating labour, materials, transport and associated project costs
• Attending site visits and client meetings where required
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
• Liaising with operational and contracts teams to ensure projects are accurately priced
• Managing multiple tenders and deadlines
• Supporting negotiations through to contract award
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

About You

We're looking for someone with estimating or strong commercial experience within the scaffolding industry.

You'll need a solid understanding of scaffolding operations, labour requirements, materials and project costs, alongside the commercial awareness to produce competitive but profitable tenders.

You could currently be working as a Scaffolding Estimator, Senior Estimator, Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager or Quantity Surveyor with relevant industry knowledge.

Package

Base salary up to £80,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and company car.
