Estimator – Repairs & Minor Works

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Full-time | Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Estimator – Repairs & Minor Works to join our team. This is a varied role involving the assessment and estimating of repair and minor works requirements, preparing quotations and supporting projects through to completion.

Working closely with service engineers, managers, subcontractors and customers, you will review repair recommendations and enquiries, gather the necessary technical information and accurately calculate costs using spreadsheets and bespoke software. You will prepare and submit quotations in line with company procedures, follow up with customers and process orders when works are approved.

The role will also involve helping to coordinate repair and minor works projects, including identifying labour requirements and assisting with planning and delivery.

About You

You will have previous experience within the lift industry, ideally with a background in lift repairs, modernisation, estimating or project coordination.

You will be organised, commercially aware and confident working with technical information and customers. Strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and good communication skills are essential. You should also be comfortable using spreadsheets and IT systems, managing multiple quotations and working to deadlines and targets.
