Hunters’ client, a growing commercial refurbishment contractor, are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join the team.
The role would suit someone from a construction and roofing background who enjoys working directly with clients, pricing work and then taking responsibility for getting the project delivered.
Project Manager - The Role
- Manage commercial refurbishment projects from enquiry through to completion, including roofing and associated works
- Carry out site visits, surveys and measurements, assessing scope, access and project requirements
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documents and prepare accurate estimates and quotations
- Coordinate labour, materials, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring projects run smoothly
- Monitor costs, programmes, quality and progress, dealing with variations and issues throughout the project
Project Manager - About You
- Previous experience in project management, estimating or contracts within construction, refurbishment or roofing
- Good understanding of commercial refurbishment works, with strong roofing knowledge highly desirable
- Experience pricing roofing, refurbishment or associated construction works
- Confident reading drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Commercially aware, organised and confident dealing with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Competitive salary depending on experience
