As an Estimator, your responsibilities will include:

• Interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce accurate quotations
• Complete quotations within agreed timescales
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements and pricing
• Apply knowledge of machine tool capabilities and production methods to each quote
• Work closely with the team to reach pricing that works for both business and customer
• React quickly and calmly to shifting business priorities

As an Estimator, your experience will include:

• Apprentice trained, time served engineer with hands on manufacturing experience
• Both turning and milling experience within CNC machining
• Proven background in a busy sub-contract machine shop environment
• Experience working within an AS9100 or similar quality environment
• Involvement in continuous improvement and process change projects
• Confident user of Microsoft Office, including Excel
