The Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a proven track record working for a main contractor. You will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects up to £50m
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to produce accurate estimates
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Work closely with internal teams including commercial, design, and project delivery
• Attend client meetings and support bid presentations

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, pricing, and procurement
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Must reside within a commutable distance to Cardiff
