Are you looking for a part-time position working just one day per week?
We are recruiting for an Exam Registrar to join a well-established examinations and assessment provider at its Belfast centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail and a friendly, professional approach.
You don't need previous examinations experience. We would welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in customer service, reception, administration, retail, hospitality or other customer-facing environments.

Full training will be provided.

What will you be doing?
As an Exam Registrar, you will play an important role in ensuring candidates receive a welcoming, efficient and professional experience when attending their examinations.

You will be responsible for registering candidates, checking identification, processing information accurately and ensuring all security and compliance procedures are followed.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Welcoming candidates and providing a friendly, professional service.
  • Guiding candidates through the examination registration process.
  • Checking identification documents and verifying candidate information.
  • Accurately recording and processing candidate details using internal systems.
  • Carrying out required security checks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Explaining examination processes clearly and answering candidate queries.
  • Ensuring confidentiality, data protection and safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Escalating concerns or unusual circumstances to the appropriate colleagues.
  • Completing administrative tasks, reports and end-of-session procedures.
  • Working closely with the wider centre team to ensure examinations run smoothly.
  • Supporting other centre activities when required.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is naturally organised and understands the importance of following procedures carefully.
Ideally, you will have:
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
  • A friendly, calm and professional manner.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Confidence using computers, email and Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to follow policies, procedures and security requirements.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • A flexible, supportive approach to teamwork.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
Previous experience within examinations, education or compliance would be useful but is not essential.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in retail, hospitality, reception, administration or other service-focused roles and would enjoy transferring their skills into a new environment.
