Main job:
Operate a 3-ton (mini) excavator on UK construction sites for digging, trenching, and loading.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operate excavator: Dig, load, place materials
2. Safety: Check machine, use banksman, follow site rules
3. Tasks: Trench for services, foundations, landscaping
4. Maintenance: Basic checks, report issues
5. Teamwork: Work with groundworkers, banksmen

Requirements – UK 2026
- Quals: CPCS 3-ton excavator card (or equiv)
- Experience: 1-2 years operating mini diggers
- Skills: Spatial awareness, manual handling
- Certs: CSCS card, SMSTS helpful

Typical Day
- AM: Briefing, check machine
- Work: Dig, load, move
- PM: Clean up, report issues
