Roles & Responsibilities – Summary

Strategic 

• Contribute to initiatives improving nursing practices and patient safety.

• Assist in developing protocols for operational efficiency.

• Promote staff engagement, excellent patient experience, and high-quality care.

• Support the Nursing Professional Practice Model to empower nurses.

Operational 

• Deliver high-quality care, especially in complex cases.

• Manage workflows, optimize resources, and mentor junior staff.

• Ensure protocol adherence and contribute to patient outcome evaluation.

• Fulfill Level 3 Clinical Advancement Program activities annually.

• Use the nursing process to provide age-appropriate care from admission to discharge.

• Educate patients and families while respecting privacy, dignity, and culture.

• Support and guide new hires and trainees during their onboarding period.
