Requirements

• Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic 

• Contribute to initiatives that enhance nursing practices and patient safety.

• Support development of protocols to improve care quality and operational efficiency.

• Drive high staff engagement and patient experience.

• Promote nurse empowerment through the Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Operational 

• Deliver high-quality care, especially in complex cases.

• Manage workflow and mentor junior nurses.

• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and evaluate patient outcomes.

• Meet Level 3 Clinical Advancement Program requirements (20 points in 4+ categories annually).

• Use the nursing process to provide age-specific care from admission to discharge.

• Educate patients/families in alignment with care plans, respecting privacy, dignity, and culture.

• Precept new hires/trainees and provide feedback on progress.

• Respond effectively to emergencies using evidence-based practices.

• Perform nursing procedures with attention to safety, accuracy, and comfort.

• Support exclusive breastfeeding in line with Saudi MoH's 10 Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
