Executive Support Assistant

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Executive Support Assistant to provide confidential, high-quality administrative and executive support to senior leaders within the academy.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager and Senior Leadership Team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of academy operations. The successful candidate will be proactive, professional, and able to manage competing priorities while building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to senior leaders.
- Manage complex diaries, appointments, meetings, and correspondence.
- Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, briefing papers, and meeting minutes.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Act as a key point of contact for staff, parents, governors, and external partners.
- Coordinate meetings, events, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records and data, producing reports as required.
- Support recruitment, HR, and wider administrative processes across the academy.
- Assist with academy communications, website updates, and promotional activities when required.
- Supervise, support, and develop administrative colleagues where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and administrative services.
- Support senior leaders with project work, research, and organisational priorities.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a senior administration, executive support, PA, or office management role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience producing high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- A professional, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
