Experienced Groundworker – Reading – £23.50ph – 3 Weeks Work

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Groundworker for a construction project in Reading, Berkshire.

Location: Reading, Berkshire
Rate: £23.50 per hour
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks – project is nearing completion
Hours Paid per Day: 8 hours
Job Type: Temporary
Start: ASAP

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Groundworker to join an existing construction project in Reading for the final 3 weeks of the job.

This role would suit someone with strong all-round groundworks experience who is confident working independently and can get stuck in with the remaining works required to bring the project through to completion.

Key Duties

Duties may include:

• General groundworks
• Drainage works
• Kerbing and edging
• Slabbing and paving
• Concreting
• Finishing works
• Making good and snagging
• Assisting with final external works
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures
• Working alongside other trades and site management

Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Valid CSCS card
• Strong previous groundworks experience
• Confident carrying out a range of groundworks duties
• Full PPE
• Own tools where required
• Reliable transport to Reading
• Recent relevant references
• Good reliability and timekeeping
• Ability to commit to the remaining 3 weeks of the project
