We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Birmingham seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from the start of the new academic year.

The Role

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

  • Teach a KS1 class and deliver engaging, creative, and inspiring lessons.

  • Plan and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum.

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated.

  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and the wider school team.

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the school community.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1.

  • Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment expectations.

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.

  • Is passionate about delivering engaging learning experiences.

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and create a nurturing classroom environment.

  • Is committed to supporting every child to achieve their best.

Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs. Applicants must have previous KS1 teaching experience.
