We are looking for an experienced and reliable Mechanic & MOT Tester to join our busy, well‑equipped workshop. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship, has strong diagnostic skills, and can carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards with confidence and accuracy.

About the Role

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
• Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Perform servicing, brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts, and general repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues quickly and accurately
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
• Maintain accurate MOT and repair documentation
• Work independently and as part of a friendly, supportive team

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified MOT Tester (Class 4) with valid DVSA licence
• Strong mechanical experience (minimum 5–10 years preferred)
• Confident diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
• Good communication skills and a professional, customer‑focused attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure

Attractive Salary & Benefits

£40,560 – £50,700 per year (Equivalent to £20–£25 per hour, based on a 39‑hour week)
