Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

Job Description

Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of a leading Civils & Groundworks Contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Rubber Duck (Wheeled 360 Excavator) Operator to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a contractor delivering industrial and commercial infrastructure projects for some of the UK's most recognised high-profile clients and developers.

The successful candidate will initially be based on a 12-month project in Coventry, with the opportunity to move onto future projects across the Midlands and surrounding areas on a permanent basis.

Working as part of an experienced site team, you will be operating a brand-new Wheeled 360 Excavator (Rubber Duck) on a range of civils projects including groundworks, highways and bulk excavation works.

Key Duties

  • Operating a brand-new Rubber Duck (Wheeled 360 Excavator).
  • Carrying out excavation works for groundworks, highways and infrastructure projects.
  • Bulk excavation and earthworks.
  • Loading wagons and moving materials safely around site.
  • Working around live services where required.
  • Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any defects.
  • Working closely with Site Managers, Engineers and Groundworkers.
  • Maintaining excellent health & safety standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Blue CPCS or Blue NPORS (CSCS Logo) Wheeled Excavator Ticket – Essential.
  • Extensive experience operating a Rubber Duck on commercial civils and groundworks projects.
  • Time-served operator with a proven track record in the civils sector.
  • Experience working on industrial, commercial, highways or infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Own transport is essential.
  • Two recent, checkable work references must be provided with your application.
  • Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
