Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are recruiting for a Manufacturing company in Oldbury for a Customer Service AND Export Coordinator with exceptional customer service!

This is a start to finish role – everything from processing the customer order until the order is complete and in the customers hands, so full ownership is required

Working hours – 37 hr working week - Mon-Thu 08:30-4:30pm / Fri 8:30-4:00pm

Holidays - 33 days

Salary - £35,000 to £40,000

Job Description

  • Processing and following-up Customer orders.
  • Answering Customers’ requests and ensuring Customer intimacy
  • Executing related import / export activities
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and local rules & regulations, in order to ensure business continuity
  • Daily interaction with Customers, Sales Managers, Credit Control, Order Fulfilment depts.
  • Replying to customers enquiries and connecting them with correct contacts internally when required
  • Checking daily report to progress status of the outstanding orders
  • Order Entry including O&G orders from other production sites
  • Confirming details to customers, update on delivery issues/dates etc
  • Returns requests / Credit & Debit notes
  • Input of Complaints / updating of pricing, customer records
  • Assisting to raise new accounts/Ship to etc
  • Preparation of documentation for banking systems Letters of credit – and collections.
  • Maintaining orders with OTIF codes where necessary.

Profile

  • Strong experience in Customer Service and Export Documentation
  • MS and ERP systems is required
  • Knowledge of shipping incoterms, letter of credit, bank collections, export requirements, particularly with respect to Hazardous goods.
