Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the Nursery team at a welcoming primary school in St Albans. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and committed TA who has a passion for early childhood development and supporting children at the very beginning of their educational journey.

The Role:

• Supporting the Nursery teacher with the daily delivery of engaging EYFS activities.

• Providing encouragement and support with children's early learning and development.

• Helping children develop communication, language and social skills through play-based learning.

• Supporting personal care, routines and children's growing independence.

• Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

• Working closely with the EYFS team to ensure every child receives appropriate support.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE) - essential.

• Previous experience working within an EYFS or Nursery setting.

• A genuine passion for working with young children.

• Confident supporting early communication, language and social development.

• A patient, nurturing and proactive approach.

• Reliable, enthusiastic and able to work effectively as part of a team.
