Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum

Salary is dependent on experience and position on the applicable Outer London Main Pay Range.


About the EYFS Teacher Position

We are recruiting on behalf of a community-focused primary school in Harrow for an experienced or recently qualified EYFS Teacher.

The school is seeking a warm and organised practitioner who can provide children with a secure, stimulating start to their education. You will be responsible for creating an environment in which children can learn through play, develop early academic skills and form positive relationships.

This full-time EYFS Teacher role begins in September and is expected to continue on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities
  • Planning an engaging and balanced early-years curriculum
  • Delivering high-quality phonics and early mathematics teaching
  • Organising accessible continuous provision
  • Observing children and using assessment to inform planning
  • Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development
  • Working with the SENCO to identify and address additional needs
  • Deploying teaching assistants effectively
  • Communicating regularly with parents and carers
Applicants Must Have
  • QTS and relevant EYFS teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
  • A clear understanding of early child development
  • Consistent and positive behaviour-management skills
  • The ability to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Full availability for the placement
