We are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Banbury that is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about early childhood development and supporting children as they take their first steps in education.

The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis, although long-term opportunities may also be considered for the right candidate.

• Take responsibility for an EYFS class, delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
• Plan and deliver a creative, play-based curriculum in line with the Early Years Framework
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic development through high-quality interactions
• Use ongoing assessment to track progress and inform next steps in learning
• Develop early communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support strong early outcomes
• Contribute to the wider EYFS provision and school community, including events and enrichment activities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within EYFS in a UK primary school setting
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Framework and child development
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
• Ability to create engaging, play-based learning opportunities
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting individual needs
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring
