Academics are recruiting for a friendly and inclusive primary school in Ellesmere Port looking for a passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team.

The school believes that children learn best when they feel safe, confident, curious and encouraged to explore. You'll be joining a team that values play-based learning, communication and developing children's independence.

Your day could include:

• Supporting children across Nursery and Reception.
• Encouraging communication, language and social development.
• Supporting learning through play and practical activities.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.
• Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Helping create an exciting and stimulating learning environment.
• Supporting children's personal care and wellbeing where required.

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification - desirable.
• Previous experience working with EYFS-aged children.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education.
• A patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child development.
