Location: Stetchford, Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Full Time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We Are Looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant!

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early years of education? We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Stetchford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teaching staff and help create a positive, engaging learning environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS activities and lessons.
• Assist children with their learning, development, and social skills.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups where required.
• Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and displays.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support children's wellbeing.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in an educational, nursery, or childcare setting is desirable.
• A positive, patient, and caring attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• EYFS qualifications are desired but not essential. Applications from candidates with relevant experience are encouraged.
