To accurately cut and prepare fabrics and materials in accordance with manufacturing requirements, ensuring quality, traceability, and on-time delivery of aerospace products.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut fabrics and materials to specified dimensions, patterns, and work instructions.
- Prepare and kit materials for production while maintaining full traceability.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure all work meets quality standards.
- Minimise material waste through efficient cutting and handling practices.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Work effectively as part of the production team to meet delivery targets.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality, and company procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow work instructions and drawings.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Previous manufacturing or cutting experience desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
