Fabric Engineer

You'll deliver hands-on building fabric maintenance, covering carpentry, basic plumbing and general repairs across multiple sites.
The Role
As the Fabric Engineer, you'll:
- Complete carpentry and general building fabric repairs.
- Carry out basic plumbing maintenance and minor repairs.
- Undertake patch plastering and make-good works.
- Repair damaged ceilings, tiles and associated building finishes.
- Travel between sites to complete planned maintenance and repairs.
To be successful as the Fabric Engineer, you'll have:
- Strong experience completing building fabric maintenance and repairs.
- Ideally, a relevant Carpentry or Joinery qualification.
- Practical experience across carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance.
- Ability to complete repairs independently to a good standard.
- Must hold or be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- £180–£200 per day.
- Van provided for mobile work.
- Time and a half for work after 6pm.
- Time and a half for weekend work.
- Temporary mobile role across Tower Hamlets.
