Building Fabric Engineer / Technician
£33,058 + Company Van + On-Call + Overtime

We're looking for an experienced Building Fabric Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, providing maintenance support across a portfolio of hospitality sites within your local area.

As a Building Fabric Engineer, you'll carry out a variety of reactive and planned building maintenance tasks, ensuring properties remain safe, compliant and well maintained. This is a mobile role, working independently while supporting the wider FM team when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general building fabric maintenance, including joinery, doors, flooring and minor building repairs.
• Respond to reactive maintenance callouts and complete repairs within agreed service levels.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance and routine building inspections.
• Complete basic external maintenance, including boarding, fencing and general site repairs.
• Work closely with other engineers and contractors to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service while working across occupied commercial premises.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Building Fabric Engineer or Building Fabric Technician.
• Strong background in building maintenance with joinery or multi-trade skills.
• Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance within commercial or hospitality environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
