We’re recruiting a Fabrication Supervisor for an established manufacturing business in Diss. They need someone who understands fabrication from the shop floor and is comfortable taking responsibility for people as well as their own work.

You could already be a Fabrication Supervisor or Team Leader. Equally, you might be an experienced Fabricator or Welder who has naturally become the person others turn to and is ready to take on more responsibility.

What they’re looking for

• A solid background within fabrication or welding

• Good practical understanding of a manufacturing environment

• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience, whether formally or as part of your current role

• Confidence dealing with people and day-to-day production issues

• A stable employment history

• Someone resilient enough to deal with the realities of a busy shop-floor environment

They’re not looking for somebody who wants to supervise from a distance. You’ll need enough practical credibility to understand the work and support the people doing it.

Salary is up to £35,000 depending on experience.
