About the company
An established sheet metal fabrication company in Aldermans Green, Coventry. The business is busy and growing, and they’re looking for a reliable Fabricator / Machine Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role
- Operating folding machines and other workshop machinery
- Folding and preparing sheet metal components in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Handling and preparing material for the welding and fabrication team
- Working from drawings and instructions to produce accurate parts
- Keeping the work area safe, clean and organised
What they’re looking for
- Experience in a fabrication, sheet metal or manufacturing environment
- Press brake or folding experience is an advantage, but training is provided
- Good attention to detail and a careful, consistent approach
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Happy working as part of a small team
- Own transport is preferred, due to the location
