Are you an experienced Fabricator who enjoys working with different materials and producing precision components rather than doing the same job day in, day out?
This is a permanent opportunity with an aerospace manufacturer in Downton, working on components where accuracy and attention to detail really matter.

What you'll be doing
You'll be fabricating aerospace components using a range of materials, working from engineering drawings and producing parts to the required aerospace tolerances.
The role will involve:

  • Fabricating components from engineering drawings
  • Working with stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel and titanium
  • Producing precision aerospace components
  • Working to tight tolerances and quality requirements
  • Using your fabrication skills to produce accurate, finished parts
  • Working as part of an experienced aerospace manufacturing team
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with previous fabrication experience, ideally from an aerospace or similarly precise engineering environment.
You'll need:
  • Previous experience as a Fabricator
  • The ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Experience working with metals such as stainless, aluminium, Inconel or titanium
  • An understanding of working to tight tolerances
  • Good attention to detail
Aerospace welding certifications/codes would be ideal but aren't essential.
