Fabricator/Welder in Barnsley, South Yorkshire

IMH Recruitment are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder for our client based in Barnsley.

This is a temporary position until January, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Job Duties:

• Fabricating and welding structural steelwork.
• Precision fabrication to drawings and specifications.
• Welding, cutting, grinding and assembling steel components.
• Measuring and checking finished work to ensure accuracy.
• Working safely and maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
• Supporting the wider engineering team as required.

Requirements for the Role:

• Previous experience in fabrication and welding is essential.
• Experience working with structural steelwork and precision fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday.
• Between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.
• Immediate start available.
• Starting pay rate from £14.50 per hour, depending on experience.
