Job Description:
The company are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role involves working with metals to create high-quality components and assemblies, ensuring adherence to safety standards and specifications.
Key Duties:
- Perform MIG welding.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Apply basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Candidate Requirement:
- Proven experience in MIG welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques is advantageous.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
