The Opportunity
An established engineering and fabrication business based in Southampton is looking to recruit an experienced Fabricator Welder to join its growing workshop team.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be fabricating bespoke frames, supports and structural fabrications using mild steel. You'll be working from engineering drawings, producing high-quality work for a range of industrial and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate frames, brackets, supports and bespoke assemblies from mild steel.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Measure, cut, prepare and assemble components.
- MIG weld fabricated assemblies to a high standard.
- Use fabrication equipment and workshop machinery safely.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder.
- Strong fabrication skills working with mild steel.
- Confidence reading engineering drawings.
- Good MIG welding experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
