Fabricator Welder in Stourbridge, Dudley

Straight-Line Group are currently looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder for an immediate start with a well-established client in the Stourbridge and West Midlands area.

Due to continued growth and increasing workloads, our client is looking to expand their team with a skilled and reliable Fabricator / Welder to support ongoing workshop and site-based projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabricator / Welder looking for consistent work, with potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Fabrication from engineering drawings.
• Fabrication and installation of welded pipework.
• Working with screwed pipework.
• General pipe fitting and site installation.
• Carrying out workshop and site-based fabrication.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, quality and safety.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Fabricator / Welder is essential.
• Experience fabricating from engineering drawings.
• Experience with welded pipework and general pipe fitting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good standard of workmanship and reliability.
• Valid CSCS Card or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own basic tools if working as a sole trader or subcontractor.

Job Details:

• Position: Fabricator / Welder
• Location: Stourbridge & West Midlands
• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: Ongoing, a permanent position may be available for the right person
• Pay Rate: £19.00 - £23.00 per hour
