Fabricator Welder

Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for a Metal Fabricator in Smethwick on a permanent basis.

Due to company expansion, several positions have become available for experienced Fabricator Welders to work for a leading architectural metalwork business. 

This is a Temp-Perm position offered via Supreme Recruitment.

Hours of work

7:00am - 4pm with earlier finish on a Friday with overtime regularly available.

Pay

£17-£18 per hour dependent on skill set rising after 3 months

What we are looking for?

- Able to TIG and MIG weld on Stainless & Mild Steels

- Be able to commute to Smethwick on a daily basis for 0700

- Preferable if you have experience working in Architectural Metalwork (preferred, not essential)

- Looking for long term, permanent work

- Able to fabricate using brake presses, grinders and similar machinery

Your duties may include:

- Using your skill set to fabricate feature staircases

- MIG/ TIG Welding (when required)

- Fabricating using various cutting/ shaping machinery including brake presses and grinders

- Reading engineering drawings

Overtime is readily available

• Time third after 40/ Saturday morning
• Time half Saturday afternoon
• Double time sundays/ bank holidays
