Our client, a leading organisation based in Huthwaite is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Administrator to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a safe and efficient workplace environment.

Summary:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months with potential for longer or permanent!
  • Location: Huthwaite
  • Pay Rate: £18.51 per hour
  • Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Potential for hybrid working after training!

What You'll Do:

As the Facilities Administrator, you will be the go-to person for all facilities-related queries on-site. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works with contractors.
  • Raising, managing, and tracking purchase orders, invoices, and service costs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities, including fire safety and HVAC.
  • Supporting the management of contractors and ensuring all documentation is audit ready.
  • Monitoring service delivery against SLAs and escalating issues as needed.
  • Assisting with workplace changes, audits, and inspections.
  • Maintaining facilities systems and supporting emergency procedures.

Key Skills & Experience:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within facilities or operations.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with compliance and health & safety processes (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with CAFM systems or similar (desirable).
