Location: Aylesford, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Starting Salary: £35,000 P/A

The Business

Based at their state-of-the-art Aylesford facility, you'll support engineering projects and facilities management across a highly automated manufacturing site, working alongside an experienced engineering and operations team.

The Role: Facilities & Project Coordinator

  • Coordinate engineering and site improvement projects from planning through to completion.
  • Support Project Managers with schedules, documentation, budgets and project tracking.
  • Coordinate contractors and suppliers while ensuring work is completed safely and on schedule.
  • Manage facilities contractors including cleaning, security, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance.
  • Coordinate planned inspections, statutory compliance and building maintenance activities.
  • Support equipment installations, commissioning and continuous improvement projects.
  • Raise purchase orders, maintain project records and monitor project expenditure.
  • Assist with contractor inductions, permits to work and health & safety documentation.
  • Help drive energy efficiency and site improvement initiatives across the facility.

Entry Requirements

Qualifications: Level 3, HNC, HND, Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification within Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, Construction or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Experience coordinating engineering projects, facilities or maintenance activities.
  • Background within Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Production, Industrial or Distribution environments preferred.
  • Experience working with contractors and external suppliers.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • AutoCAD experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
