Salary: £25,000 per annum + on-call allowance (1 week in every 3)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities / Maintenance Operative to join a well-established organisation in Kettering. This is a full-time position supporting the safe, efficient, and effective operation of a busy multi-site environment.
Working on a rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 1:30pm
- Week 2: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Week 3: Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm
- Carry out a wide range of caretaking and facilities duties, including basic DIY, plumbing, painting and decorating.
- Operate a forklift truck (training may be provided where required).
- Complete maintenance and inspection logs.
- Open and close the site, ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Carry out vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
- Respond to intruder and fire alarm call-outs as part of the key holder rota.
- Perform routine Health & Safety inspections.
- Assist with moving equipment and materials, including some heavy lifting.
- Provide hospitality and event support when required.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude.
- Be confident building effective working relationships across different departments.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be willing to undertake first aid training.
- Possess good problem-solving skills.
