Job Title: Facilities Manager
Trust: Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust
Location: Kingsley Green, Harper Lane, Shenley, Radlett, Hertfordshire, WD7 9HQ
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Pay Rate: £17.13
Are you a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment in line with National Health Service standards.

Job Duties
- Manage daily facilities operations (cleaning, waste, maintenance, security)
- Ensure buildings are safe, compliant, and well maintained
- Coordinate contractors and service providers
- Monitor service quality and resolve issues quickly
- Support health & safety, fire safety, and infection control compliance
- Handle site logistics including portering and transport
- Investigate incidents and implement improvements
- Maintain records, reports, and basic budget control
What you’ll need:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management or estates management
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) and HBN (Health Building Notes) guidance
- Ability to manage multiple services and priorities
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of health & safety and compliance
