Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the safe, compliant and effective delivery of facilities services at a London office.

In this role, you will provide visible on-site leadership, managing the site team and service partners while ensuring a high standard of workplace support across the office environment. You will be responsible for maintaining safe and effective service delivery, supporting operational performance and ensuring compliance requirements are met.

The successful candidate will be a customer-focused and proactive leader with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and maintain operational excellence. You will also drive continuous improvement across service quality, cost control, sustainability and workplace experience, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of facilities services, including maintenance, cleaning, security and workplace support.
  • Lead, support and develop the on-site team, including performance management, coaching, wellbeing and day-to-day direction.
  • Build effective relationships with customer stakeholders, employees, colleagues, contractors and service partners.
  • Coordinate contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor service performance, resolve issues promptly and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Manage facilities budgets, purchase orders, invoices and cost controls, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Maintain records relating to maintenance activity, statutory compliance, service contracts, risk assessments and operational reporting.
  • Support business continuity, incident response and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, customer experience and service value.
