Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join an established Aerospace Tier 1 manufacturer in Hinckley. This role will be responsible for HSE leadership and the Facilities Team, managing facilities operations, ensuring statutory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and providing a safe, efficient working environment that supports the core business.

This role is based in Hinkley, with occasional travel to Farnborough required. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead daily facilities operations and manage the team to maximise output, acting as the primary point of contact for internal departments.

• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and coordinate reactive maintenance to ensure all site equipment and infrastructure meet safety and legal standards.

• Supervise external contractors, manage site services and infrastructure projects, and ensure all permits and compliance documentation are in place.

• Manage the facilities and maintenance budget, obtain project quotes, and monitor contractor performance against service standards.

• Support statutory audits, apply continuous improvement techniques to drive operational efficiency, and manage occasional travel to the Farnborough site.

Key Skills & Expereince: 

• Proven background as a Facilities Manager within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, TPM, statutory compliance, and hands-on problem-solving.

• Demonstrated success in simultaneously managing multiple projects, workstreams, and facilities initiatives.

• Experience overseeing maintenance budgets, contractor performance, and vendor operations.

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively up to C-suite level
