Factory Dispatch Admin

Location: SK7 Area - Stockport 
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.71 - 13.25 per hour 

About the Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of rubber components, supplying products to customers across various industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a reliable and organised Factory Dispatch Admin to join their busy factory team.

This role is based within a manufacturing environment where conditions can be warm, wet, and steamy due to the production processes involved in rubber manufacturing.

The Role

Working as part of a fast-paced dispatch team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately packed, labelled, and prepared for shipment. Alongside dispatch duties, you will carry out a range of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Printing dispatch labels and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Packing products safely and accurately to meet customer requirements
• Checking orders against dispatch paperwork to ensure accuracy
• Booking deliveries and liaising with courier services where required
• Updating dispatch records and maintaining accurate system information
• Carrying out general administrative duties including data entry and filing
• Using company computer systems to process orders and update records
• Monitoring stock movements and reporting discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area
• Supporting other departments when required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience within a dispatch, warehouse administration, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a positive team-focused attitude
• Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Comfortable working within a factory environment that can be warm, wet, and steamy
