Location: Bradford
Pay Rate: £13.07 per hour / £26,500 per year
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm; Friday, 6:00am–11:40am
Contract: Temp to PERMANENT
Job Type: Full-time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer with FLT Counterbalance.  This is a temp to PERMANENT position.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role with regular daytime hours. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The Role

As a Labourer, your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining areas throughout the factory

• Moving goods around the factory using FLT (Fork Lift Truck) Counterbalance

• Emptying general waste and recycling bins

• Clearing scrap wood and other waste from the factory

• Weighing scrap materials and sweeping factory areas

• Clearing cardboard boxes from office areas

• Baling waste cardboard

• Emptying the shredding machine outside the offices

• Helping with ad hoc duties, such as setting up furniture for presentations

• Supporting other labourers and the wider team when required

• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a valid FLT Counterbalance certificate

• Be reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in

• Be capable of working unsupervised and use their own initiative

• Be a team player and willing to support colleagues when required

• Have good communication skills

• Be flexible and willing to work overtime when required

• Have a positive attitude and good work ethic

Full training will be provided for the right applicant, so previous experience is not essential.
