About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our client’s busy manufacturing facility based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has previous experience working in a factory, manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with hand tools and carrying out physical tasks as part of the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Rubbing down and preparing metal bars for production
- Using a variety of hand tools safely and effectively
- Carrying out general factory and production duties
- Preparing materials and components for the next stage of production
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Following company health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Completing other general duties as required by the production team
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment
- Experience using hand tools
- Good attention to detail
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good awareness of health and safety
- A willingness to carry out physical and repetitive tasks
- A good work ethic and a positive attitude
