We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a busy manufacturing company based in Clacton-on-Sea on a temporary basis for approximately one month.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced factory environment and would suit candidates with previous production, warehouse, manufacturing or assembly experience.

The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking and happy carrying out a variety of duties to support the day-to-day running of the factory.

Duties will include:

• Assisting with general factory and production duties
• Operating basic machinery and production equipment
• Loading and unloading materials
• Moving stock and products around the factory
• Packing finished goods ready for dispatch
• Carrying out quality checks on products
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Following production instructions and work schedules
• Assisting colleagues across different departments when required
• Adhering to Health & Safety procedures at all times

The ideal Factory Operative candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a factory, manufacturing and production environment
• A good work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable timekeeping and attendance
• Ability to carry out manual handling and lifting duties
• Flexibility to undertake a variety of tasks as required
