Factory Operative - Braintree
Pay Rate: £12.71ph + 20% Shift Allowance (approx. £15.25ph enhanced rate)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm - Midnight
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Braintree, Essex, on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a hands-on factory role involving a variety of production, assembly, manufacturing and packing duties. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within a manufacturing environment.
Duties include:
- Carrying out general production and factory duties
- Basic assembly of products and components
- Working with small components and materials
- Following production processes and instructions
- Quality checking finished products
- Packing completed products ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
The ideal Factory Operative candidate:
- Previous experience within a factory, manufacturing and production environment is preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and committed to consistent attendance
- Comfortable working with small components
- Able to follow instructions and production processes
- Works well as part of a team
- Keen to learn and develop within a manufacturing environment
