Factory Operative

Search Recruitment are working with their client based in the Arbroath area who are looking for dedicated, motivated and reliable Factory Operatives to join their team.

Core details:

• Monday - Friday, 0800-1700
• £13p/h - paid weekly
• Temp contract: Sept - Dec

Your duties:

• Feed product in to machinery with speed and accuracy
• Heavy lifting
• Quality check product to ensure it meets requirements
• Palletise and wrap final product ready for shipping
• Maintain cleanliness of the working area
• Complete any documentation required
• Raise any discrepancies/faults in materials, machinery or final product with the appropriate person(s)
• To support in other areas as required

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Physical fitness due to manual aspect and heavy lifting involved
• Experience working in a factory environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team or alone using initiative to identify what needs done
• Driving license beneficial but not essential
