Factory Systems Manager (ERP / MS Dynamics Lead)

Kaizen Talent Solutions

About the Role

Are you a systems implementation specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics looking for a high-impact, standalone position?

We are working with a manufacturing business (~100 staff) based in Redditch, seeking a Factory Systems Manager to take total ownership of our ERP ecosystem and operational processes. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this is a hands-on technical and process leadership role with no direct reports—giving you full focus on project delivery without people management administration.

You will be the internal subject matter expert responsible for rolling out best-practice ERP workflows on the MS Dynamics platform. From raw material intake, through shop-floor manufacturing, to finished goods dispatch and sales integration, you will design, refine, and embed seamless inventory and operational systems across the entire business lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP Implementation: Lead the integration and optimization of best-practice ERP processes utilizing the Microsoft Dynamics platform.
  • Inventory Control: Design, implement, and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure end-to-end stock accuracy and visibility.
  • End-to-End Workflow Optimization: Map out and standardize systems/processes covering the entire supply chain—from raw material receipt through manufacturing to finished goods and sales.
  • Change Management: Work cross-functionally across departments to ensure new operational processes are effectively adopted and maintained long-term.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading or heavily contributing to MS Dynamics system implementations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in manufacturing management, systems architecture, or operational process design.
  • Demonstrated ability to create new operational procedures from scratch and successfully drive business-wide adoption.
  • Expert knowledge of inventory control, shop-floor traceability, and material flow logic (raw materials to finished goods).

What We Offer:

  • Ownership & Autonomy: Total responsibility for the site's ERP architecture without the distraction of line-managing staff.
  • Balanced Hours: Standard daytime working hours for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Direct line of communication to production leadership in an agile, ~100-person operation.
