Family Care Solicitor - Public and Private Law

Salary £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience

Location: Bromsgrove - Office-based with free onsite parking

About the firm:

Our client is a well-established Legal 500-recognised law firm, with a network of over 20 offices throughout the UK. They are a full-services firm, providing services to both individuals and businesses.

This is a progressive, SRA-regulated law firm, established for over 100 years in Bromsgrove, offering a first-class service based on traditional values.

Their accreditations include Legal 500, Legal Aid Agency, SFE, STEP, SQM and CQS. They are also Criminal Litigation accredited, Family Law accredited and Mental Health accredited.

What you'll be doing

• Running your own caseload of public and private children law matters including complex care proceedings
• Conducting your own advocacy
• Working closely with clients 
• Working to tight deadlines

Who we’re looking for:

Suitable candidates will have:

• Fully qualified status with 5+ years’ PQE
• Significant experience of dealing with both public and private children law proceedings
• Holder of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation (or working towards this)
• Able to meet the LAA requirements for supervisor status
• Experience of dealing with a wide range of cases, including complex care proceedings
• A professional, friendly and reassuring approach to clients

What’s on offer:

This is a full-time permanent job which is fully office based, working 9:00am to 5:15pm Monday to Friday
