Teacher of Female Physical Education (Maternity Cover)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Female Physical Education to join a thriving, high-performing secondary school from September 2026 on a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract.
The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic and well-resourced PE department within an outstanding educational environment, known for its supportive culture, excellent facilities, and high levels of student achievement and engagement.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across the full ability range.

Contribute to a broad and varied extra-curricular sports programme.

Plan, develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons and schemes of work.

Support the continued success and development of the PE department.
The ability or willingness to teach Health and Social Care would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
