Location: Birmingham, B18
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Shifts: Mix of day and night shifts
Hours: Full time – minimum of 4 shifts per week
Start Date: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for a female Support Worker to join a residential care home in Birmingham, B18, supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, including schizophrenia.

This is a full-time role offering a mixture of day and night shifts. Some residents require support with full manual handling and personal care, so previous experience in a similar setting would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to residents with learning disabilities and mental health needs
• Support individuals with daily living tasks and routines
• Deliver personal care where required
• Assist with full manual handling for some residents
• Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
• Follow care plans and report any changes or concerns
• Work effectively as part of the care team
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for residents

Requirements

• Female applicants only
• Previous experience in a support work or care role is preferred
• Experience working with learning disabilities and mental health is desirable
• Comfortable providing personal care and manual handling support
• Flexible to work a mix of day and night shifts
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-focused approach
• Available for an immediate start
