Field Quality Inspector in Birmingham, West Midlands

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturer and supplier within the fitted kitchen and bedroom sector, who are looking to appoint a Field Quality Inspector to join their Quality Assurance team.

This is a field-based position covering the Western and North West regions, with travel required to building sites, retailers and customer locations across the UK. The role would suit someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys working independently, managing their own diary and being out on site.

Regular overnight stays will be required.

As Field Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for carrying out quality inspections of fitted kitchens, bedrooms and deliveries, ensuring products and installations meet the required standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out fit quality inspections on new-build development sites
• Completing quality checks on delivery and offloading activities at sites and retailers
• Identifying and recording quality issues accurately
• Producing clear and detailed inspection reports
• Managing your own diary and planning efficient travel routes
• Working closely with internal teams and customers to communicate findings
• Attending regular team meetings
• Travelling nationally as required, including regular overnight stays
• Representing the business professionally when visiting customer and construction sites

We are looking for someone who is naturally detail-focused and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

You will ideally have:

• Experience within a quality, inspection, auditing, construction or manufacturing environment
• A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to inspections
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with people at all levels
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good computer literacy and report-writing skills
• A full UK driving licence
• A willingness to travel nationally and stay away from home regularly
• A professional and presentable approach

A relevant CSCS card would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
