Field Service Engineer (Birmingham)

Location: Birmingham / Walsall Region
Salary: £26,000-£36,000 per annum + Benefits

We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover customers across the Birmingham and Walsall region on behalf of a well-established engineering business experiencing continued growth.

This role is suited to an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical experience who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service while working at customer sites.

• Service, maintain and repair industrial equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown support.

• Install and commission equipment where required.

• Complete service documentation accurately.

• Represent the business professionally while building strong customer relationships.

We're interested in experienced Field Service Engineers from a range of industries, including:

• Industrial weighing systems

• Materials handling equipment

• Manufacturing machinery

• Industrial automation

• Packaging machinery

• Food processing equipment

• General electromechanical engineering

• Mechanical and electrical engineering experience.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.

• Previous experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role.

• Confident working independently and managing your own schedule.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Full UK driving licence.

Experience within the industrial weighing industry would be beneficial but is not essential. Candidates with transferable electromechanical engineering experience are encouraged to apply.

Salary: £26,000-£36,000 per annum, depending on experience.
